Kia ora,
My name is Chelsea Skinner & I am the co-chairperson for Te Whatu Ora Waitaha Youth Advisory Council (Formerly known as Canterbury District Health Board (CDHB) Youth Advisory Council).
We have a group of rangatahi who voluntarily advocate for 12-24 year olds in the Canterbury health system. Each member has lived experience in the health system or advocates on behalf of a friend or whānau member who uses the health system. Our team does a wide variety of things from creating youth health resources to running education events to providing professional development for health professionals to working alongside other local and national health organisations.
We are currently recruiting for rangatahi between the ages of 16-24 years old who may have an interest in making a difference in the health system. I have attached our advertising poster but we were just wondering if you would be able to share this opportunity with rangatahi you know in your school that may be interested.
