Ara | Te Pūkenga is pleased to share the news that the nurse training capacity is significantly increasing next year. In 2024 Ara will have four intakes for the Bachelor of Nursing in Christchurch (with starts in January, March, June and August) and two in Timaru (starting in March and August).
If you’d like to train to become a Registered Nurse, this change makes it much more likely you’ll gain a place.
Please know that if your application relies on your 2023 NCEA results, you’ll need to apply to start in March or June as results won’t be available in time to start in January.
These will be held on Tuesday 27th June from 1.15pm to 4.15pm and on Friday 30th June from 9am to 2pm. All meetings will be held on-site at Christchurch Girls’ High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora. Bookings will open on Thursday 8th June at 9.am
