Exciting news for aspiring nurses!
Ara | Te Pūkenga is pleased to share the news that the nurse training capacity is significantly increasing next year. In 2024 Ara will have four intakes for the Bachelor of Nursing in Christchurch (with starts in January, March, June and August) and two in Timaru (starting in March and August).
If you’d like to train to become a Registered Nurse, this change makes it much more likely you’ll gain a place.
Please know that if your application relies on your 2023 NCEA results, you’ll need to apply to start in March or June as results won’t be available in time to start in January.
