My name is Tim and I am the Reserve Force Recruiting Coordinator for the NZ Army. Defence Recruiting will be hosting a Reserve Force information webinar this Thursday evening, the details of which are included in the attachment. Although this webinar will be open to anyone, it will be specifically tailored for high school students.
Year 13 school leavers who are not already considering a career in the NZDF could benefit from attending the webinar. Whether they are going onto further education or entering the workforce after finishing school, they could earn up to $11,000 this summer by completing their Reserve Force basic training* and corps training, as well as securing ongoing, paid part-time employment with the NZDF
(*this training would clash with some students’ NCEA exams but how this could be mitigated will be discussed in the webinar).
